Native Plant Sale – October 1st & 2nd!
We hope you will join us for the 2021 Native Plant Sale, located at Bainbridge First Baptist Church, on October 1st from 4 – 6 PM, and October 2nd, from 9 AM – 12 PM.
Masks will be required to attend the Plant Sale.
Friday is open to Land Trust Members only, so if you have not yet submitted your membership donation, you can do so by clicking here!

Speakers:
John van den Meerendonk
Topic: Native Ferns (4 PM Friday, 9:30 AM Saturday)
About John: John served on the Land Trust board for 6 years. He’s also a present board member and past President of the Hardy Fern Foundation which introduces new ferns in horticulture and promotes fern display gardens for education. In the past, John was the Horticulture and Grounds Director at the Bloedel Reserve, a Peace Corps volunteer, horticulture teacher, and Principal of Botanica Inc. (a landscape design/build/consulting company). He is now retired.
Azure Boure
Topic: Culturally Significant Plants & Their Uses (5 PM Friday, 10:30 AM Saturday)
About Azure: Azure Boure is a member of the Suquamish Tribe where she works as an educator in the Traditional Food & Medicine Program. She teaches within the Tribe and the local community sharing her knowledge. She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Native Environmental Science from Northwest Indian College and is an active member in several Indigenous Foods collectives. Gathering traditional foods and plants is a passion of hers and teaching others those skills is what fulfills her.
