The Land Trust welcomes a challenge!
We’re delighted to announce that a small group of generous Islanders has committed $500,000 to Stand for the Land and will match every dollar we raise over the next six months. Now
we need everyone’s help to realize its full potential.
Here’s how it works.
Step one: You make a donation to Stand for the Land between now and March 31, 2019.
Step two: A generous group of Islanders matches your donation, dollar for dollar, up to $500,000.
Step three: The Land Trust puts your matched donation to work protecting forests, streams, estuaries, and more.
This challenge has strict parameters and a real deadline. If we don’t raise the full $500,000 by March 31, 2019, we won’t get all the matching funds. If we are successful, Stand for the Land will get a $1,000,000 boost toward finalizing our initial acquisitions and protecting more beautiful, ecologically-important habitat before it’s too late.
