2nd Annual Bainbridge Island Beach Cleanup

On Saturday, September 9th islanders took to the beaches for the second year in a row to remove garbage and harmful debris from our shorelines. This year’s efforts were centered around road-ends and public access beaches.

Large groups worked at Pritchard and Fort Ward Parks. With 250 people signed up, and more participating on their own, there’s no doubt this event had a positive impact on our shoreline ecosystems. Thank you! The cleanup effort was organized by Sustainable Bainbridge with support from various community groups. For more information visit the Beach Cleanup website or Facebook page!
